Frequently Asked Questions
What happens after I schedule a call?
Once you schedule a call, you'll receive a series of emails to prepare you and give you a deeper preview of what our work together might look like. On the day of the call, we'll discuss your goals and what I'd like to focus on if we work together. If it feels like a good fit, we'll talk about moving forward; if not, there's no pressure or manipulation from me. I'll simply wish you well.
What can I expect from coaching sessions?
Each session will integrate various modalities, combining mindset work (shifting thoughts and perspectives) with somatic work (awareness and healing within your body). Some sessions will be light-hearted and fun, while others will involve deep healing. It really depends on what you need at the time.
I'm white-passing or mixed race. Is this the right coaching space for me?
If you identify as a person of color and resonate with the struggles mentioned, you're welcome in my practice. However, for my own safety, I will have a conversation with you about your anti-racism journey to ensure I feel safe in a deep relationship with you.
How much time and energy do I need to dedicate to this?

On the other side, you'll stand tall in your truth, run a business fueled by your passion, and avoid succumbing to white capitalism. Sounds worth 5-10 minutes a day, right?
Is there a group/community element to this work?
Yes and no. This is primarily 1:1 coaching, but all my coaching clients get access to my short-term courses, online retreats, and paid workshops for free. You can expect longer group sessions twice a year and smaller events about once a month.
Will we talk about strategy in this work? What kind of folks work with you 1:1?
You're a good fit for my coaching practice if:
- You identify as a person of color
- You identify as queer or trans

This coaching program won't dictate what you should do in your business—that's a patriarchal approach I don't believe in. I trust that you know what's best for you and your business. If you bring a strategy topic to a coaching call, I'll support you in finding the best answer for you, but I won't often tell you what to do.
